In Jo’s workshops you will:
Read a local short story and note the significant events.
Interpret the tone of story, then match colour and style accordingly.
Create an artwork that illustrates the feeling, character and content of the story.
Each free workshops is limited to 10 people, so bookings are essential.
Please bring along morning tea.
About Jo and Treehouse Art Studio
Jo Francis has a BA in Fine Art from the University of NSW and a Diploma of Education. She has worked as an art teacher for over 28 years and founded Treehouse Art Studio, an art school on the Central Coast, over 16 years ago. Joanna also writes and illustrates picture books, with her first publication Lucia and Lawrence being nominated for the Prime Minister Literary Award.
