Single sessions: $240, including editing up to 2000 words of your writing, plus a 1 hour phone/Zoom consultation.

Monthly coaching: $420/month, including 2 x 1 hr phone/Zoom sessions (once a fortnight) and editing up to 4000 words.

Monthly coaching runs like this: each fortnight you’ll send through a piece of writing (aiming for 2000 words) a few days in advance. I’ll edit it, and we’ll go over the piece in in detail during our session. Depending on how your writing is working, I’ll offer advice on craft techniques (dramatisation, description, narrative flow, point of view, etc) and we’ll discuss where the piece might sit in the bigger picture. At the end of each session, I’ll help you identify the next piece of writing to work on and offer prompts if needed. We will also talk about the creative process and strategies around overcoming common doubts and blocks.

Coaching schedules and word counts can be customised to suit.

Like one-on-one coaching, everyone submits up to 2000 words to share with the group, I’ll edit each piece, then we’ll meet for a 1 hour group Zoom session to go over the work in general and discuss different writing techniques and creative strategies.

Sessions can be scheduled fortnightly, monthly, or bimonthly, depending on what the group needs.

If needed, I can also run useful writing exercises, provide prompts and share interesting readings for us to analyse and discuss.

Group rates per person

2 person group coaching: $210/month (monthly sessions*); $380/month (fortnightly sessions).

3 person group coaching: $190/month (monthly sessions*); $360/month (fortnightly sessions).

4 person group coaching: $170/month (monthly sessions*); $340/month (fortnightly sessions).

*3 month minimum.

Similar to one-on-one coaching, but you split the cost.

General Editing: $80 per 1000 words.
